VAXA supports communities in developing countries by leveraging local partnerships to diligently work towards bridging the gap in nutrition deficiencies that moves beyond giving people access to the basic human right of food security. Icelandic Ultra Spirulina is integrated into traditional local foods to fortify their nutritional quality and address malnutrition. Addition of spirulina will not alter the original organoleptic characteristics. Income from the carbon credits will be used to partner with reputable NGOs and other stakeholders to implement nutrition programs in Africa, Asia, and South America with the pilot programs already planned for South Africa and Tanzania. VAXA spirulina farming replaces production of high quality proteins from carbon intensive cattle farming with carbon negative processes.
